About Us

Trebla Partners Limited (trading as Trebla) holds a licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) to provide a financial advice service. Our financial advisers are registered on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR).

Our Financial Advisers

The financial advisers who provide advice on behalf of Trebla Partners Limited are:

  • Arapeta Albert — Financial Adviser (FSP433026)
  • Joanne Walker — Financial Adviser (FSP380146)

Alex Talopa'u and Alva Talopa'u operate in a business development capacity and do not provide regulated financial advice.

Nature and Scope of Advice

Our financial advisers provide advice in relation to:

  • Mortgages and personal lending
  • Business lending
  • Personal and business life, health, and income protection insurance

We work with a range of product providers and lenders to find solutions that best fit your needs and goals. A list of the providers we work with is available on request.

Referral Services

For the following services, Trebla Partners Limited acts as a referral only. Advice in these areas is provided by specialist third-party advisers, not by Trebla Partners Limited or its financial advisers:

  • Fire and General (F&G) Insurance — Home, contents, vehicle, and general insurance. We refer clients to specialist F&G providers and may receive a referral fee for doing so.
  • Investment Products — Managed funds and investment advice. We refer clients to a specialist investment adviser.
  • KiwiSaver — KiwiSaver scheme advice and reviews. We refer clients to a specialist KiwiSaver adviser.

Where a referral is made, we will make this clear to you. The referred adviser will provide their own disclosure statement before providing advice.

Fees and Conflicts of Interest

In most cases, Trebla Partners Limited receives commission from the product provider when we arrange a financial product for you. This means there is no direct cost to you for our advice.

Commission structures vary by provider and product type. Where a conflict of interest exists, we manage this by ensuring our advice is always based on your best interests and that we consider a range of products from different providers.

Full details of any commissions or fees applicable to your situation will be disclosed to you before any product is arranged.

Complaints

Even with the best of intentions, complaints sometimes arise. Trebla Partners Limited is committed to ensuring that all client complaints are handled and resolved in a professional, fair and timely manner in accordance with our Client Complaints Policy and associated procedures. If you are not satisfied with our financial advice services, you can lodge a complaint via our website under the complaints section.

When we receive a complaint, we will consider it and let you know how we intend to resolve it. We may need to contact you to get further information about your complaint. We aim to resolve complaints within 10 working days of receiving them. If we cannot, we will contact you within that time to let you know we need more time to consider your complaint.

We will contact you by phone or email to let you know whether we can resolve your complaint and how we propose to do so.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, or you aren't satisfied with the way we propose to do so, you can contact Financial Disputes Resolution Service — an approved dispute resolution scheme who provide a free, independent dispute resolution service that may help investigate or resolve your complaint.
